In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

The ruling powers in Bahrain and Yemen; instead of learning a lesson from the fall of the dictators in Egypt and Tunisia and granting legitimate requests of change, justice and national independence of their own people, have adopted a strategy of violence and criminal repression.

As the Holy Qur’an teaches us, when the people stand with faith, perseverance and dignity, no material force can stop them: “If you help [the cause of] God, He will help you and make firm your feet” (Holy Qur’an, 47:7).

The Islamic Association “Imam Mahdi” (AJ) expresses its strong solidarity with the revolutionary movements and people of Middle East and North Africa who are shaking the thrones of the dictators and threatening previously unchallenged hegemony of the “democratic regimes” in Washington , London and Tel Aviv over the Muslim masses.

The Islamic Association “Imam Mahdi” (AJ), strongly condemns the barbaric actions of the despotic regimes in Yemen and Bahrain against peaceful demonstrators. These atrocities have reminded us what happened over a sixty years of period in the Occupied Palestine. We also object any military intervention of foreign troops in the Muslim lands with the aim of repressing popular demonstrations and protecting dictatorial regimes that are subservient to Western powers.

We are disappointed to witness the total indifference of the Arab League and the Organization of the Islamic Conference in performing any action that aims to resolve these problems in the Arab and/or Islamic context. Thus, yet again allowing –with a criminal complicity– a neo-colonialist assault of the so-called “International Community” (which includes in reality United States , England , Israel and some satellite states) on the Muslim lands.

We invoke God Almighty to bestow peace to the souls of the martyrs, patience to their family and perseverance to the revolutionary people.

With prayers for the victory of the oppressed people over the oppressors.

“Surely God will defend those who believe. God does not love anyone who is unfaithful, ungrateful” (Holy Qur’an, 22:38)
